MANIFESTO FOR JUSTICE AND SOCIAL PEACE WITH SHARED GAINS!
THE SPRING THAT ARRIVES FROM THE DRY HAZE AND THE DUST FELTED TO OUR EYES.

[...]Here we are (THE PEOPLE OF THE ISLANDS!). In the spring it is neither Arab nor cold Ukraine. We are coming from the dry haze and the dust storm that shot us in the eye. We stubbornly exist as a fighting people despite the attempt to eclipse us.
The skewed paths they traced and imposed upon us in the post 1975 year of our Independence made us survive in a utopia without flesh and bone of the Nation in an illusory state terribly fitted by whom the people over the years put in power to serve. The sting of power and its intestinal attempt to keep it divided our Great People into "THEM AND US".
MOTTO: WE WANT OUR CAPE-VERDE BACK TO THE PEOPLE OF THE ISLANDS!
The scandals have also happened because democracy itself and its players sometimes allow themselves to be sold. "Ours" prostitute herself, perhaps her current "actors and actresses" alienated her to gold, oil, euros and dollars, transforming it into an arena of personal and corporate interests.
Absolutely free thought is required, untying us in this terrible hour of political Manichaeism in our country that translates into a schizophrenic and anti-pedagogical political bipolarization - partisan.
The 'Status Quo' that has been imposed on us, the 'Establishment' (dualistic) - The system on the islands has already proved more than enough that it does not serve the designs of the PEOPLE OF OUR ISLANDS!
Ladies and gentlemen; Your Excellencies!
We are on the streets to express our deep indignation at the state of things and spirit in Cape Verde. The popular commotion grows and there is a shout for positive changes in the markets, fountains, corners, slopes, squares, esplanades, taverns, alleys and deserted valleys of the islands.
We have come to the post-bourgeoisie and misery that such Illusory State of Cape Verde has created by transforming our society into an Intensive Care Unit where even children disappear and there are no lines of inquiry and pregnant young people lose their lives through neglect and omission of help!
How to deny the blatant? Look at the pockets of misery and abandonment by the breaches and the heights of the cities.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN IT IS EXTREMELY UNACCEPTABLE: the licentiousness, immorality, nepotism, use 'fascia' of the Public affairs and abusive exercise of power (the most recent case involved the Regional Commander of the National Police (PN) in Sal, Elias Silva arbitrarily deprived of his duties following his statements on the wave of assaults recorded lately on this island, criticizing the law Cape Verdean government in effect, saying that it "is a friend of arms").
We suggest that the instituted powers make a self-criticism of their perversity and incompetence. These who look to us with stone looks have turned us into a fighting people and that does not run away from the fight!
Our parents tighten their belts and our mothers handkerchiefs while we walk almost invisible like the puma cubs.
We were just sleeping, but now we wake up and we already lost sleep. Listen to our voice, now it is the turn of this Great Island People that toils against the sea and the wind under the sun or dry haze. We are the great Cape Verdean spirit. We are real even denying us the right to dream!!
We even philosophized to take a 'mug bath' and break fast in the Sucupira Market.We groped in the dark the candles of our desolation while our children mourn outside. As the horses working in the mines without light the leaders lost sight and the insight of the concrete situation, of the real state of this still nation project.
A whole picture and rosary of miseries and anxieties have been carrying with anguish the people of the islands who have not seen the fulfillment of their dreams, the materialization of the great and legitimate national desiderats. Our current situation is downright unfavorable to the great mass, in particular. We are drifting amid a sea of doubts and public debt. What does tomorrow hold us?
WE ARRIVE LIKE A GREAT CPI - COALITION OF THE PEOPLE OF THE ISLANDS. SCREAMING MORE ONCE: WE WANT OUR CAPE - VERDE BACK TO THE PEOPLE OF THE ISLANDS!
In this Manifesto we rise in a new perspective in the spring sun and the fresh dew of a new dawn rising. We emerged as a new Situational Consciousness and Local Intelligence. We stand the test of time and remain whole as the great Cape Verdean phalanx, the legion of the nonconformists at the dawn of a new cycle, on the threshold of a new portal of time in existence of the People of the Islands. We are proposing an Other Level of Political Competition and Social Contract with Equitable Sharing!
Striving and reinventing ourselves in the inexhaustible reserves of Cape Verdeanity, we firmly continue in the process of evolution as a people and as a nation of Atlantic soul, of independent thinking that flies majestically as condor. WE ARE THE GREAT CAPE - VERDIAN SPIRIT!
The new season has arrived bringing the scent of roses, hydrangeas and jasmins to our resistance women and the nutrition dew to our children. We are the restitution of the stolen dream of our young and the lush and flourishing trees of our elders, the honor of our men!
